THE BEAUTIFUL DAY OF THE DEAD IN MEXICO Eleacid Samuel Almazán Firó March 2020 On November 2 in Mexico the people celebrate The Day of the Dead, some traditional customs are put a beatifull altar with fruit, saucers, sweets and bread in memory of the deceased people or loved ones, the believe is that the souls of them arrive at night to visit us. Tonight, distant or not so distant people of the dead visit them homes for take offerings or leave candles.   This tradition begins on October 31 and ends on November 3, when the alive family eat and share the food that previously was put in the offering. Also, during these days children usually disguise themselves as skulls, ghost, pumpkins and go out to the streets to ask for sweets with a pumpkin or chilacayote to which they take away the seeds and place a candle in the shape of a skull.
